- Relocated from Yurakucho to Shinagawa in April 2026
- 1 minute walk from Shinagawa Station east exit
- Located on 5th floor of Shinagawa 82 Building
- Oyster shirako paella priced at ¥3,900
- Sol de Camaron langoustine plate priced at ¥3,980
- Dinner budget ¥4,000-5,000 per person
- Open Tue-Sun 4pm-11pm, closed Mondays
Easy to walk into and seriously good. Personally I think the à la carte beats the course menu — the menu is already affordable, so you might as well order what catches your eye.

What makes it special
Sol de Media Noche was a Yurakucho institution — a Spanish bar tucked into the railway arches that built a reservation-required following over years of pop-up-style nights. The arches closed in March 2026 for construction, and the team relocated south to the Shinagawa-Konan high-rise district.
The new space loses the underground-arch atmosphere but keeps the Spanish chef and the original menu. The langoustine ‘sun’ platter and oyster-shirako paella are still the dishes to plan around. Late hours and a minute’s walk from Shinagawa station make it an unusually viable post-Haneda stop.
How to visit
Exit Shinagawa station’s east (Konan) side. The 82 Building is the office tower directly to the north. Take the elevator to 5F. Reservations strongly recommended.
FAQ
FAQ
Wasn't this in Yurakucho?
Yes — the previous Yurakucho location (under the railway arches) closed in March 2026 due to overhead-track construction. The new Shinagawa-Konan location opened in April with the same Spanish team and recipes.
What should I order?
Two signature dishes: the 'oyster + shirako paella' (¥3,900) — paella served in oyster shells with cod milt — and 'Sol de Camarón' (¥3,980), a langoustine-and-garlic-lemon plate that gave the original restaurant its reputation.
Is it walkable from Shinagawa station?
One minute on foot from Shinagawa station's Konan (east) exit. The 82 Building is the tall office tower next to the station; the restaurant is on the 5th floor.
